The festival may seem far away, but the DOXA team is already busy confirming programming and inviting guests from other parts of Canada and around the world—so our ask couldn’t be more timely and urgent! 

DOXA Documentary Film Festival (Vancouver, May 4-14, 2023) supports a better understanding of the complexity of our times through engaging the public in documentary media as an art form. In our 22nd year, the eleven-day festival will feature public theatrical screenings, panel discussions, industry programming and mentorship, a special program for youth, and more.

As a charitable non-profit organization, DOXA relies on the generosity of its audience and funders to enrich the festival experience. We know that you value filmmaker participation during panel discussions, audience Q&As, and workshops.
